Static by design
Your code never expires. Not after a trial, not when you stop paying.
Every code from this tool is static: the link or text is encoded directly into the pattern. There is no server in the middle and no account behind it.
That is the opposite of most online generators, which hand you a dynamic code that redirects through their servers. Those stop working the day your subscription lapses. Yours will not.
Print it, laminate it, ship it on a thousand boxes. It keeps scanning long after this tab is closed.

Questions
Is the QR code generator really free?
Yes. Make a code, download the PNG, and use it anywhere. There is no sign-up, no watermark, and no scan limit.
Do the QR codes expire?
No. Every code here is static, which means the data is baked into the pattern itself. It works forever, even offline, and never depends on a subscription or our servers.
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static code stores the data directly in the pattern, so it never expires and needs no account. A dynamic code routes through a server you keep paying for, and the moment you stop, the code stops working. This tool makes static codes on purpose.
Can I use the codes commercially?
Yes. Put them on packaging, menus, flyers, products, business cards, anything. The codes are yours.
Is there a scan limit?
No. A static code can be scanned any number of times by anyone. There is nothing to meter and nothing to top up.
What file formats can I download?
The free web tool exports a high-resolution 1024px PNG. For SVG and PDF vector files that stay sharp at any print size, use the QRGenie app.
Can I add a logo or my own brand colors?
The free tool gives you four color palettes and three module styles. Custom colors, gradients and a center logo are in the QRGenie app for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Will a designed QR code still scan?
Yes. The codes use solid colors with enough contrast and keep the three finder squares intact, so a designed code scans just like a plain black-and-white one.
